Hydrangea from my own garden

I finally have a beautiful hydrangea bloom from my own flower garden. I decided last night to cut off the bloom and take it inside to enjoy. I have 4-5 hydrangea plants and they have had some little puny blooms, but this is the first really big one. I love hydrangeas and enjoyed seeing fields and fields of them in Portugal this summer. I am very excited to have one blooming at home too!

  2. I was so sad last winter when our hydrangea tree was ruined because of an ice storm. We had to cut it down. We did replace it this spring, but it's so much smaller. Your blooms are beautiful! It's going to be a number of years before our tree is a respectable size and produces a bloom like that.
