Guess who now has glasses?

Rylan is pretty excited that he is no longer the only family member without glasses. He got his new glasses on Tuesday. It has been a fun week of his telling us what he can now see.

His vision had gotten much worse than his last eye appointment. The eye doctor even said that if he was old enough, he wouldn't be able to drive without his glasses. We are not sure why his eyesight changed so much, but the Doctor said kids' eyes change drastically sometimes, depending on physical growth as well.

Rylan picked transition lenses for his glasses, so it helps with his squinting/light sensitivity outside too. I noticed today at his soccer game that he didn't shade his eyes with his hands even once.
He is enjoying his new glasses and improved vision and we are reminded to be grateful for our vision insurance!
